Requirements:
Education:
• Diploma in Medical Technology (Laboratory) from State Medical Faculty of Bangladesh.
Experience:
• 1 – 3 years of relevant experience in a reputed hospital/diagnostic center is preferred.
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital
Additional Requirements:
• Age At most 30 years
• Good knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment.
• Experience in operating automated analyzers will be preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain accuracy.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Word and Excel.
Responsibilities & Context:
• Perform routine laboratory investigations in Hematology, Clinical Biochemistry, Microbiology, Immunology and Clinical Pathology.
• Receive, collect, label, process and properly preserve patient specimens.
• Operate automated and semi-automated laboratory analyzers according to standard procedures.
• Perform quality control procedures and ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
• Prepare and maintain laboratory reports, records and documentation.
• Perform sample collection/phlebotomy when required.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, reagents and consumables properly.
• Follow laboratory safety, infection prevention and biomedical waste management protocols.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional ethics.
• Report any abnormal or critical findings to the appropriate authority promptly.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Laboratory In-Charge/Supervisor
